Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI)

Cornerstone.IT is committed to creating a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace. We believe that a diverse workforce is a stronger workforce, and we are dedicated to maintaining an environment where all members feel welcomed, valued, and respected.

A Part of Our DNA and Culture

Family, integrity, wisdom, making a difference, and commitment are Cornerstone’s core values.  Each member of our workforce embraces these values, as demonstrated in their commitment to our clients, peers, family, and community.

Organized to Be Diverse, Equitable, and Inclusive

Our late co-founder, Tommy Moreo, Ph.D. Organizational and Industrial Psychology dedicated himself to ensuring Cornerstone.IT by its nature would be diverse, equitable, and inclusive. Today we continue to achieve this by following his Nine-Step Employee Engagement Program which begins with the job application and ends with retirement.

Tommy’s visionary program is rooted in cultural diversity and emotional intelligence training for all members. The essence of this program manifests in how we, as an organization think and act today – our company culture.

We Are Committed to the Following Principles:

  • Diversity: We value diversity of thought, background, and experience. We believe that a diverse workforce brings different perspectives and ideas to the table, which leads to better decision-making and innovation.
  • Equity: We believe that all employees should have equal opportunities to succeed. We are committed to providing all members of our workforce with the resources and support they need to reach their full potential.
  • Inclusion: We believe that all members’ thoughts, ideas, and perspectives are welcomed, valued, and respected. We are committed to creating an environment where everyone can be themselves and feel they belong.

We remain dedicated to our core values; providing a work environment that is diverse; equitable; and inclusive; and evidencing this through our business, family, and community relationships.
