Recent CPU Speculative Execution Vulnerabilities should have you thinking about your network security. Learn how to protect your network.

Researchers at Google recently uncovered security vulnerabilities in most modern CPU chips. Operating system manufacturers like Microsoft, VMware, Google, Apple and Citrix have released patches to mitigate the vulnerabilities. CPU manufacturers like Intel and AMD are releasing firmware updates to also address these vulnerabilities.

Microsoft released related patches on January 3, 2018. However, some anti-virus software has prevented the installation of the patches. See Microsoft Compatibility Warning.

No exploits have been identified to these vulnerabilities. However, Cornerstone expects there will be additional updates and patches over the next few months.
